A flock of cranes embellishes an already stunning sky during their annual migration to the Platte River corridor in the state of Nebraska, USA. These sandhill cranes gather en masse in early spring each year to convene and prepare for longer flights to far northern regions of the Northern Hemisphere during the more hospitable months of summer.
