Firefall

A dark evening at Horsetail Falls in Yosemite Valley was certainly worth the time spent in anticipation of a special phenomenon. As light waned, a few final rays of light reached the waterfall cascading off of the massive Granite known as El Capitan, and it and provided just one final visual taste of the famous event known as Firefall, an event that occurs for a few days each year if the weather will cooperate. After enjoying a few minutes of a spectacular show, this piece reflects the final glimpse of color before the curtain closed.
