The beautiful blossoms of the Cereus genus of columnar cacti will astonish with their size and shape. Some varieties bloom in the darkness and are known as 'night-blooming'. These cacti trace their origins to the Americas, notably where the Atlantic's Caribbean offers a supportive influence.
